KANSAS WHITETAIL HUNTS
We are booking our Kansas whitetail deer hunts for 2010. Take home a fine Kansas trophy buck. Leftover permits go on sale June 15 at 12:01 a.m., online at the KDWP website (www.kdwp.state.ks.us). Those who don’t have access to a computer may call the Licensing Section at 620-672-0728, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

We are booking our Kansas Spring turkey hunts for 2011. Hurry before all our dates are full.

Kansas Deer Hunting and Kansas Turkey Hunting with
Blue River Whitetails

Your Kansas hunting experience will take place in Washington County in North Central Kansas. We offer Kansas trophy whitetail deer and spring Kansas turkey hunts.

We have leased thousands of privately owned acres of prime deer and turkey habitat for Kansas hunting. Our Kansas land consists of creek and river bottoms, rolling hills, CRP fields, hardwoods and cedar draws. Cropfields consist of milo, corn, soybean, wheat and alfalfa. The soil in North Central Kansas is some of the richest in the state. The Blue River Whitetails hunting area also has mast crops such as acorns that deer love, thus providing all the nutrients for growing Kansas trophy whitetails.

David Schotte is the owner and licensed guide of Blue River Whitetails. Living in the Hanover, Kansas area all of his life has given him an intimate knowledge of the land. Over his 30 years of Kansas deer hunting, David has had the opportunity to take several trophy deer and has helped friends do the same. His experience in archery and rifle hunting could possibly put you on the trail of the trophy whitetail of your dreams.

Wow, where to begin?! EVERYTHING in experience with Blue River Whitetails, is truly some of the best memories I’ll have. The hunts are filled with action and excitement constantly keeping your heart pounding out of your chest making time itself go as fast as a bullet. And the best part?

Whatever you may be doing, if that be hiding behind a hay bale or crawling along a river bank, you are constantly hearing and SEEING turkeys! Plus the guide is top notch; extremely knowledgeable with both turkeys and about all the different parts of land we hunted on . But what really heightened our entire experience is the hospitality of our guide, David and Lisa. He invited us to have dinner with him and his family, a very nice addition to the whole experience. I may only be sixteen but I still know what a good hunt is, and at Blue River Whitetails I found it. Can’t wait to go back!!
